Founded in 1994, Ageon Srl of Borgo San Dalmazzo (CN – Italy) is a company specializing in the supply of products and services for soilless cultivation in greenhouses.

Ageon was born from the vision of its founder, Pierfranco Silvestro, who brought together a team of professionals with experience in the world of substrate cultivation, to create an entity capable of constantly adapting to the evolving needs of the market. Ageon encapsulates over 30 years of research, innovation, and respect for environmental standards.

The company is composed of four distinct and complementary divisions:

The Ageon Commercial division is responsible for selecting and distributing the best products and services for modern greenhouse cultivation, following thorough international research.
The Ageon Crop Consulting division provides highly qualified agronomic consulting. It also offers analysis and support services to greenhouse growers from the planning stage through the entire production cycle, helping them maximize both quantitative and qualitative yields.
The Ageon Substrates Pvt Ltd division focuses on the production of coconut coir substrates for all crops.
The Ageon Technology division is dedicated to the research and development of new technological projects aimed at simplifying and modernizing procedures in state-of-the-art greenhouses.

Today, soilless cultivation has become fundamental to ensuring consistent quality and quantity in production. We can proudly state that Ageon has significantly contributed to the growth of this sector, having been a pioneer in substrate cultivation within protected environments at the time of its founding.
