Water EC meter with probe

The water electrical conductivity meter includes a high-precision 4-electrode probe, a display transmitter, and a radio transmitter to convert data into radio waves for real-time visualization on MyAgeon platform. This instrument is ideal for measuring the EC of irrigation, drainage water, floating and other hydroponics systems.

The water electrical conductivity meter features a 4-electrode probe which operates effectively with up to 90% incrustation and requires calibration checks approximately every 6 months. The display-equipped transmitter provides real-time readings directly in the greenhouse, with automatic temperature compensation for highly accurate data. The radio transmitter converts the probe data into radio waves and transmits it wirelessly to the Base Station.

EC Range: 0.0 to 20.00 mS

Protection class: IP65

Electric-powered

Quick calibration directly in the greenhouse

Automatic temperature compensation

For optimal performance, keep the sensor submerged in water to monitor conductivity trends over time.
It can be installed in a bucket or container. Smaller containers provide more accurate readings as the sensor measures the most recent drainage water (and thus the most recent irrigation water).
Ageon Multiparameter Box is the ideal installation location because it:

  • ensures a consistent water flow over the probe
  • includes filters to keep the water clean
  • is designed for a minimal water capacity, ensuring the sensor measures only the most recent irrigation water.

Under these conditions, the probe will maintain a highly accurate calibration and provide reliable data over time.

To ensure optimal communication with the Base Station, the transmitter must be positioned above the plant canopy. This way, plant barriers will not obstruct the signal.
